Professional Experience
Dick Stevens is a founding partner who practices in patent related matters. He emphasizes client counseling regarding U.S. and foreign patent matters including patentability, infringement, clearance and validity opinions and has substantial experience in preparation and prosecution of U.S. and foreign utility and design patent applications/registrations including appeals and reexaminations in technologies including materials handling vehicles, paper manufacturing monitoring, can end production, medical technology, manufacturing processes, telephony, laser printers, fuel vapor recovery systems, lighting, writing instruments and radar detectors. He was a Member of Technical Staff at Bell Telephone Laboratories for six years and a Member of Patent Staff at Bell Telephone Laboratories for five years prior to entering private practice in 1979.
